New Haven, Connecticut  -  Two of the New Haven area’s most respected names in real estate, John Wareck and Frank D’Ostilio, announced that they have combined forces and have joined Real Living, one of the nation’s most innovative national real estate franchises. The company name is Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio Real Estate.

“Real  Living is a powerful, forward-thinking real estate company, and we are thrilled to join its fast-growing national network of offices,” said John Wareck, Partner/broker. “Our team will be able to tap into the extensive resources, including cutting-edge technology and marketing tools, and Premier Service®, one of the nation’s leading customer service programs in the real estate industry. They offer a comprehensive array of services to support our business while keeping our clients’ best interest first and foremost. Our customer-centric philosophy mirrors Real Living’s so the choice was simple. We feel it will take our company to the next level.”

“Wareck D’Ostilio is highly regarded by home buyers and sellers in the Greater New Haven area, and we are excited and proud to welcome the company and its outstanding team of professionals to the Real Living family,” said Harley E. Rouda Jr., president of Real Living.

Other Real Living Franchises in Connecticut include Page-Taft Real Estate in Guilford, Madison and Essex and Five Corners Real Estate in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

“As soon as word got around that John and I had started a Real Living Brokerage, agents started calling to come work for us” said Frank D’Ostilio, Partner/Broker.  Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio started with 3 agents and by the end of the year, the company had grown to 14 agents.

“Real Estate is a local business based on strong customer relationships. The fact that agents are calling John and I to join our team is testimony to the exceptional reputation we have built independently and together in the Greater New Haven area,” D’Ostilio said.

Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio Real Estate is located on the Green in New Haven at 129 Church St.  “Our New Haven office puts us in a central location for our agents to service their clients throughout the city and surrounding  suburbs,” Wareck said.  “We are here to service the academic communities of Yale and other New Haven institutions, as well as, the medical communities at Yale New Haven and Smilow Cancer Hospitals,” he added.

The Real Living Brand is uniquely positioned to assist its agents in retaining clients for life.   It is a lifestyle brand that trains its agents through continued education to work with clients as they grow into their homes and grow out of them.

Some will go from a rental into their first home; others move into a larger home. Perhaps, some are ready for a lifestyle change to a 55+ community or a condominium.  Real Living agents learn special skills to help each one of these distinctly different buying and selling groups.  Real Living also has one of the largest RELO lead networks in the country.

“One of the comments Realtors hear frequently is ‘I am a first time seller. I have never sold a home before.’”  D’Ostilio said. “Our agents are schooled to handle the seller, as well as the buyer.  This is especially important in this particular market where selling a home can be a real challenge for some clients,” he said.   “We also have an exclusive arrangement with the Bank of America that will allow us to be the featured partner in Greater New Haven on their website. This opens us up to 20 million additional unique viewers per month!” D’Ostilio added.

Real Living Wareck D’Ostilio Real Estate is a full service brokerage, equipped with a rental division, resale, new construction and commercial division.  All agents are trained in residential and commercial transactions and decide what percentage of time they spend in each concentration on an annual basis.

John Wareck has worked in the commercial real estate industry for more than a decade. In January 1997 he took the helm of a commercial real estate investment company overseeing portfolio and property management of approximately 100,000 square feet of retail, office and light industrial space.
In 1998, he expanded the business into brokerage and is now President of a commercial and residential development firm, Wareck Development, LLC.
In 2005 he was awarded Business New Haven’s Rising Star award for his work on the Johnson Simons downtown revitalization project. In 2008 he was awarded The Charles L. Terrell Downtowner of the Year award by the Town Green District.

A resident of New Haven, John has two daughters who attend the Foote School. He is the son of the late Attorney Stephen Wareck, President of the New Haven Board of Aldermen and Barbara Cooley Wareck. His grandfather was J.J. Cooley, an automotive dealership principle who owned multiple dealerships in the area.

Frank D’Ostilio, Jr. is an expert in Real Estate purchase and sale transactions. He owned and was president of William Orange Realty for 18 years. William Orange Realty was one of the fastest growing and most recognized real estate companies in Greater New Haven and Fairfield County. He is an expert in new construction, land development and commercial properties.
He has served as president of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors, and was a director for more than 10 years.

Frank and his wife Mary live in Woodbridge with their two sons and daughter.
