North Haven: A 30 acre parcel of “Open Space” land at King Highway was purchased by the Town of North Haven for what is being called “passive recreation purposes,.” And cannot be used for “development.” The seller was the Sinoway Family Partnership of North Haven and the sale price was $447,500. Christopher P. Nolan, Senior Commercial Associate in the North Haven Commercial Office, and Eileen Smith, Residential Sales Associate in the Wallingford Regional l Office, of Pearce Real Estate were the listing and selling agents.
The Connecticut General Statute, required the purchase to be referred to the Town Planning and Zoning Commission for their review and approval. The proposal then was sent to the Town’s Board of Selectmen who approved the purchase at their March 2017 meeting.
