aiactl 212x300NEW HAVEN: The Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects [AIACT] has unveiled a new digital magazine, Archtype, expected to be published 11 times per year. The digital “page turning” format mirrors a print style magazine, a PDF version is available as well.


The premier issue, May has a feature on Jenny Sabin of Ithaca, NY, AIA CT’s upcoming [October 5] keynote speaker at the annual conference.

A “member spotlight” feature, focuses on two firms, Silver/Petrulli + Associates of Hamden and Steven Mueller of Greenwich.

The magazine showcases the 2018 Connecticut Trust of Historic Preservation Awards and 2018 New Haven Preservation Trust Awards.

There are Q&As on Emerging Architects committee co-chairs, Arturo Arroyo of Svigals+ Partners and Adrienne Nelson of Pickard Chilton.
