BRIDGEPORT — As a part of the company’s revised business model of using technology to create new products, Clean Diesel Technologies Inc. has received a $960,971 grant to further reduce harmful diesel exhaust emissions. The award comes from the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) of Texas, which will use its proprietary technology to create and test the device that would conduct emissions laced with nitrogen oxide particles. Clean Diesel Technologies has hopes of using the fitted devices on on-and off-road monitors such as diesel generators.
